Nyerere (Selous) National Park
Drive from Dar es Salaam to Mtemere Gate, the eastern entrance to Nyerere National Park. In the afternoon, ease into the park with a village tour and a boat safari on the Rufiji, where crocodile and hippo line the banks and the birdlife rarely lets up. Dinner and overnight stay follow at your lodge or camp.

A Full Day Inside Africa's Largest Park
Nyerere (Selous) National Park
After breakfast, head out for a full day of game drives across Nyerere's woodland and floodplain. Your guide will help you find the park's big cats, lion, leopard, and cheetah, alongside elephant, giraffe, buffalo, and wildebeest. Return to camp for dinner and a second night under southern Tanzania's wide sky.

After breakfast, begin the drive back to Dar es Salaam, bringing your Nyerere safari to a close.
