Tanzania rewards those who go deeper. From walking the bush at dawn to sleeping under a canopy of stars, HHM Wildlife Safaris crafts experiences that go well beyond the vehicle.
Track the Big Five across Tanzania's most celebrated parks, from the endless plains of the Serengeti to the untamed wilderness of Ruaha and Nyerere.
Step into the bush on foot with an armed, expert guide. Read tracks, discover the small wonders, and feel the wilderness at a pace that a vehicle never allows.
Wind down on the spice island after your safari. Turquoise water, white sand, and the layered history of Stone Town make Zanzibar the perfect finale to any Tanzania trip.
Celebrate in style with a carefully curated itinerary built around you, combining the romance of the bush with the finest camps and lodges Tanzania has to offer.
Spend time with local communities, visit ancient rock art sites, and gain a deeper understanding of the cultures and traditions that shape life across Tanzania.
Explore the highlands and forest trails of Tanzania on foot, from the Udzungwa Mountains to the slopes of the Eastern Arc, home to rare endemic wildlife.
We tailor every detail to suit mixed groups, from child-friendly game drives in Mikumi to flexible itineraries that accommodate different ages and interests with ease.
No two travellers are the same. Tell us your interests, your pace, and your budget, and we will build a route across Tanzania's parks and islands that is entirely your own.
From the moment you land to your final departure, our team handles the logistics so you can focus entirely on the experience ahead.
We work with a small circle of camps and guides, in parks where you can drive for an afternoon and not pass another vehicle. Every itinerary is drawn by hand, in conversation with you.
“The most extraordinary three weeks of our lives. We had Ruaha almost to ourselves, drifted the Rufiji at dawn, and were cared for as if family. HHM understood exactly what we dreamed of and quietly surpassed it.”James & Eleanor Whitmore London, United Kingdom
“We travelled with three children who now talk of little else. Sunrise over Ngorongoro, elephants crossing at Tarangire, and a team who thought of everything before we did. HHM turned a big journey into something easy and safe.”The Bennett Family Melbourne, Australia
“They planned our honeymoon down to the smallest detail, then let it unfold like a dream. The Serengeti left us speechless and Zanzibar gave us the quiet we longed for. We have never felt so genuinely looked after.”Amara & Daniel Okonkwo Toronto, Canada
The dry season from June to October offers the finest game-viewing, as wildlife concentrates around the rivers and waterholes. The green season (November to March) is lush and superb for birding, photography and lower rates. We tailor timing to your priorities.
The south, Nyerere, Ruaha, Katavi and Mahale, delivers a wilder, more exclusive safari with a fraction of the visitors, plus experiences the north cannot offer such as boat safaris and chimpanzee trekking. We also arrange Northern add-ons when you wish to see both.
Every HHM Wildlife Safaris journey is designed from scratch around you, your pace, interests, budget and the people travelling. There are no fixed departures; you simply tell us what moves you and we craft it.
Absolutely. The southern parks pair beautifully with the beaches and spice-island culture of Zanzibar, making for an ideal bush-and-beach finale. Short flights connect the two seamlessly.
We work only with trusted camps and professional guides, and weave conservation and community benefit into every itinerary, because protecting these wild places is the reason we exist.
